Dr. Christopher E. Yanchus, DC

Dr. Yanchus received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic – Florida Campus. His undergraduate work was completed as a College Park Scholar at the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiological Sciences, where he developed an understanding of how human movement occurs, the factors that directly or indirectly influence movement and the benefits of a movement-oriented lifestyle. As a chiropractor, Dr. Yanchus focuses on keeping people active whatever age or condition of their bodies while learning exactly what it will take to remain healthy.

In chiropractic school Dr. Yanchus was actively involved in the Pettibon, Scoliosis and Sports clubs. Today he is very active in the sporting community enjoying soccer, surfing, golf and tennis. Through his athletic endeavors, Dr. Yanchus understands how important it is to maintain a healthy spine, as well as return patients to doing the activities they love as quickly as possible.

Dr. Yanchus first joined a multidisciplinary office in January 2009 located in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey, focusing on spinal curve correction in a multidisciplinary practice of chiropractors, physical therapists and pain management medical doctors. There he learned how important proper spinal structure and rehabilitation exercises are to maintain an active body.

Dr. Yanchus has been working at the Chiropractic Family Center on Drum Point Road in Brick, NJ since August of 2010. He has a two daughters, Harper and Maya, with his wife, Dr. Ashley Higgins Yanchus.   He currently is additionally certified in FAKTR, Rock Taping, and Foundation Training.
